JIP Vision

The JIP works collectively to achieve improved outcomes for people's health and well being by providing strategic leadership, ensuring effective use of resources, coordinating key stakeholders, sharing a regional vision, and promoting innovation and creativity.

You can find out more about our activities for 2010/2011 in our Business Plan. You might also want to look at our Annual Review 2009/10.

The JIP brings together a range of key regional stakeholders and partners to develop and oversee a comprehensive improvement programme for adult social care in Yorkshire and Humber and support delivery of Putting People First.

Funding

Since 2007, £3.3 million has been received by the JIP from the Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (RIEP) to support delivery of the regional 'People Matter' strategy (2007) which sets out a vision for Yorkshire and Humber for transforming public services.

In addition to RIEP funding other JIP partners have provided £600k of funding to support the delivery of the People Matter strategy.
